Our approach
We work inside the business, alongside the people who will run the new system after we leave. Every engagement follows the same four stages; the time spent in each depends on the size of the problem.
Diagnose
2 to 4 weeks
Walk the business with the people who run it, and measure where time, cash and margin are lost.
- Interviews with promoters, managers and front-line staff
- Process walk-throughs and data analysis from Tally or the ERP
- A written diagnostic with findings ranked by value and effort
Design
3 to 8 weeks
Agree the future process, structure and measures with the people who will own them.
- Future-state processes, SOPs and approval limits
- Roles, KRAs and KPIs, and the MIS that will track them
- An implementation plan sequenced so each change settles before the next
Deploy
2 to 6 months
Implement alongside your team: configure systems, train people and run the first cycles together.
- System configuration and master clean-up
- Training on live transactions, not slides
- Weekly progress reviews with the promoter
Embed
Ongoing
Hold monthly reviews until the new way of working runs without us.
- Monthly MIS review meetings with action tracking
- Periodic checks that SOPs are being followed
- A planned exit, so the business is not dependent on us either
How we work
The principles behind every engagement.
- Start from the numbers
- We begin with your own data from Tally or the ERP. Opinions about where the business loses money are tested before anyone acts on them.
- Design with the people who will run it
- Processes and SOPs are written with the managers and staff who own them. A design imposed from outside does not survive the first busy month.
- Fewer changes, fully implemented
- We would rather fix three things completely than recommend thirty. Each change settles before the next one starts.
- Measure whether it worked
- Every engagement has measures agreed at the start, such as cycle time, working capital days or margin, and we report against them.
- Plan our own exit
- The goal is a business that runs on its systems, not on its consultants. Hand-over is part of the plan from the first week.
Engagement and fees
Most engagements begin with a paid consultation or a short diagnostic. The diagnostic is quoted as a fixed fee once we understand the scope. Implementation work is quoted either as a fixed fee per phase or as a monthly retainer, agreed in writing before work starts.
Every engagement is covered by a written engagement letter setting out scope, deliverables, timelines, fees and confidentiality.
